4) About SPARX Asset Management Korea:
SPARX Asset Management Korea is the Korean subsidiary of SPARX Group (8739 JP), a Tokyo-listed independent investment management firm with approximately KRW 20 trillion in AUM (August 2025). Since 1989, SPARX has built a strong presence across Asia with offices in Tokyo, Seoul, and Hong Kong, investing in listed equities, private equity/venture capital, and renewable energy. We conduct qualitative and quantitative primary research using all available public information, alongside direct company visits and management interviews, to rigorously assess the intrinsic value of potential investments. Our team believes that fundamental analysis and on-the-ground insights lead to better investment decisions and long-term, stable returns for our clients. The Korea office works closely with SPARX's regional offices to generate high-conviction investment ideas and uncover long-term value in the Korean market.

5) Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and updating marketing materials to support fundraising and relationship development
- Manage timely responses to inquiries from current/potential investors and arrange and attend meetings with relevant parties
- Support relationship management via in-person meetings and calls, including cold calls and e-mails
- Maintain and update investor database platforms, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.

6) Qualifications of the ideal candidate:
We are looking for individuals who are genuinely passionate about global business development in asset management industry and eager to grow through hands-on experience. The ideal candidate:

Must:
- At least 2 years of experience in financial industry (Either sell-side or buy-side)
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Attention to detail, superior communication skills, and interest in investment as well as client management
- Possess a high level of maturity, integrity, and responsibility, and be able to work collaboratively within a team
Preferrable:
- Familiar with fundraising, fund administration, and business development activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Finance related certificates (ex. Certified Investment Manager, Chartered Financial Analyst, etc.)
